We all know that we are supposed to brush our teeth at least twice a day and rinse our mouths after every meal. However, the following foods require higher levels of oral hygiene.
– Dried fruits and bread stick on your teeth, generating plaque and cavity-causing bacteria.
– Candy and soda have excessive sugar, which creates bacteria that cause decay.
– Alcohol dries the mouth, thus creating an environment where harmful oral bacteria thrive.
Brush at least twice daily, for an average of three minutes and see your dentist regularly for cleaning.
